There are over 200 people from different areas, who work in total connection to achieve each and every one of the goals.
In order to understand the functions of each area, and more specifically, of the professionals who integrate it, we must firstly realise that each sector does not function in an isolated manner, nor is it only connected to other sectors, but rather it is integrated in one sole operation. Though the specific tasks are grouped by sectors, departments or areas –as we prefer to call them – which are the following:
OPERATIONS With the highest degree of qualification, this team is prepared to listen and understand the needs of the clients which will lead to a specific type of service or a tailor-made solution. Some qualities of the team of the sales team can be summarised as follows: wide knowledge of languages; a streamlined, accurate and efficient work procedure; and a business and project vision.
This Staff comprised by young professionals, completely geared to clients, works in synergy with the R&D team to offer the market new logistics concepts.
From this team, and relying on ample experience, planning and calculation abilities, they manage the traffic of vehicles, drivers and goods in such a way as to guarantee the quality of the transport service at the same time as the flow of the vehicle fleet is managed, applying a high degree of control and coordination with the other departments and areas, and thus ensuring improved integrated management.
Thanks to our management system, with the most advanced IT tools and the latest technical means, the logistics experts coordinate the transport network for part load services pallet by pallet.
TALLERES In order to reach level zero of breakdowns and to carry out just in time itineraries with the highest levels of quality, it is necessary to carry out maintenance and hygiene of the vehicles, in order to offer the client a differentiated and highly competitive transport service.
Those in charge of the fleet of trucks are technicians who specialise in vehicles for the transport of goods and work with high precision IT tools.
HR. The professionals working in the Human Resources Department carry out a series of tasks and functions, one of the most important being –aside from those derived from the management of staff – to attract professionals with skills to employ in any of our work areas, administration of the Castillo Trans Job Bank, and the implementation of training programmes.
QUALITY This department carries out all tasks related to maintaining and improving the procedures of integrated management to offer clients a top quality goods transport service across Europe.
ADMINISTRATION Of the many and complex functions of this department subdivided in sections of purchases, clients and suppliers, among others, the managers ensure that the administrative process for each transport operation is carried out following the same procedure as that of the operation that originated it.
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION This department is in charge of planning, coordinating and executing the tasks related to expansion strategies.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT Here our information system and communications network is managed and supervised, optimising it and thus obtaining the best performance. To this aim, this department carries out a never-ending activity divided mainly in the study and analysis of new solutions and their subsequent implementation and a full permanent training programme in new technologies.
