Since its beginnings, Castillo Trans has understood that new technologies are an important component, and at the same time, an ally for the improvement and development of the transport sector. An important part of this idea is based on a fundamental principle: communication.
Communication in our sector is vital; knowing where, when and how the activity of our vehicles and the goods they are transporting is taking place helps us to foresee not only our client’s needs, but also possible incidents. This is why all our fleet is equipped with the GMS, SMS and GPS system, allowing us to locate and establish communication in real time with any vehicle at any time of the day or night, making it possible to plan the routes to follow and to make reports of itineraries made for their subsequent analysis.
As a complement to this flow of communication, the staff of the different departments which make up our platforms in Spain and Poland are equipped with remote access devices for our VPN, enabling them to access at any time the data managed by myTruck, an SAP R/3- based ERP exclusively developed for Castillo Trans, which globally streamlines, integrates and manages the flow of information between the departments of Finance, Sales, Traffic, HR and Workshop.
All our offices are communicated through VoIP and with a DECT system, allowing us to better manage communication, with increased mobility.
In order to carry out all this work, our technical department offers 24/7 support, to improve this service we have back-up servers, uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and emergency generators which allow us to be autonomous in any circumstance. Lastly, we have a strict security and data protection policy, keeping data in optical and digital formats.
